This lesion is an early sign of HPV-related tonsillar cancer. Head and neck surgeon Dr. Richard Gallagher of St Vincent's Private Hospital Sydney was sent this video by a rurally-located physician whose patient presented with this lesion.
Via this video (captured & sent with TelScope Telehealth System by Holland Healthcare), Dr. Gallagher was able to conclude that the lesion is an early sign of head & neck cancer.
