Part 1 - This video guides you through the process of laying out your portable quilt frames on the floor, and takes you to the pinning of the backing fabric onto the frame, with special instruction on pinning placement and fabric direction. Watch part 2 to see how to add the C-clamps and batting to the backing fabric layer, then add the top fabric to finish the set up, so you're ready to begin hand quilting. Part 3 shows how to roll your quilt once you've stitched as far as you can, and also shows you how you can set the quilt on the sofa to begin hand stitching until you make quilt stands to set your quilt on.
Supplies:
quilt frame (four 1" x 3" boards with fabric strip)
four C-clamps (2" or 3")
fabric for quilt top and quilt backing
batting
quilting pins
