BRITISH RAILWAYS IN THE 2010's
Ipswich Station on 4th June 2010
Part 2 of 2
Following on from Part 1 of this feature, taking us into the evening time a very busy period endured, which was expected as rush hour had started. Full of London Liverpool Street to Norwich and return services, in the hands of a Class 90 at the London End and a Class 82 DVT at the Norwich end. The majority of these trains were in National Express Livery with the odd EWS liveried class 90 locomotive (90018). More class 90s are seen on freightliner traffic and also on freightliner duties were class 66s. A long oil train was captured on film heading south, hauled by a Gbrf class 66. EMU traction was represented in the form of class 321 and a class 360, whilst DMUs were in the form of class 170s, 156 and 153. Two surprises were seen later in the evening when DRS Locomotive 37087 passed through with a coach plus a DVT, and near the end of this feature in part 2 we see a freightliner pass in the hands of freightliner liveried class 86 (86601). I have split the feature into two parts as I acquired a lot of footage on this very successful visit. I hope the video takes you back to this period with fond memories. Feel free to comment, good or bad, all comments are read, and greatly appreciated, but it is not always possible to answer each individually.. Many thanks to all subscribers and for the likes, also to all those viewers whom over the years, have kindly shown an interest and appreciation in my material. If you have enjoyed this production, then please like and subscribe...
