Introducing GeoWebCache and Tile layers in GeoServer
GeoWebCache is a tiling server integrated with GeoServer. It runs as a proxy between a map client and map server, caching (storing) tiles as they are requested, eliminating redundant request processing and thus saving large amounts of processing time.
This session will discuss how to configure GeoWebCache through the web admin interface, followed by a detailed discussion of two sections of "Tile Layers" and "Disk Quota".
