Latest Update: Toyota has begun delivering the new Innova Hycross to customers.
Price: Toyota retails the new Innova between Rs 18.30 lakh and Rs 28.97 lakh (introductory, ex-showroom Delhi).
Variants: It comes in five broad trims: G, GX, VX, ZX and ZX(O).
Seating Capacity: It is offered in both seven- and eight-seater configurations.
Colours: Toyota offers it in seven exterior colours: Blackish Ageha Glass Flake, Super White, Platinum White Pearl, Silver Metallic, Attitude Black Mica, Sparkling Black Pearl Crystal Shine and Avant-Garde Bronze Metallic
Boot Space: The Innova Hycross offers a boot space of 991 litres, after the third row is folded flat.
Ground Clearance: The MPV comes with a ground clearance of 185mm.
Engine and Transmission: New Innova can be had with two engine options: a 2-litre petrol engine paired with an electric motor putting out a combined 186PS and up to 206Nm. A non-hybrid version with the same engine is also available, producing 174PS and 205Nm. The former comes with an e-CVT, while the latter comes with a CVT. The new Innova is a monocoque front-wheel drive MPV.
Its strong-hybrid engine, Toyota promises, delivers 21.1kmpl fuel economy and a range of 1,097km on a full tank. The Innova Hycross can dash from zero to 100kmph in 9.5 seconds.
Features: Toyota’s new generation MPV boasts a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment display, digital driver's display, dual zone climate control, and ventilated front seats. It also has a panoramic sunroof, wireless phone charging, a 360-degree camera and connected car technology.
Safety: Safety is ensured by up to six airbags, ABS with EBD, vehicle stability control (VSC), tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), and front and rear parking sensors. Furthermore, it also gets ADAS functionalities including lane-keep and departure assist, adaptive cruise control, and auto-emergency braking.
Rivals: The Innova Hycross is a premium alternative to the Kia Carens and the Mahindra Marazzo, while being an affordable option to the Kia Carnival.
