Americans Try Swedish Christmas Food 🇸🇪🎄 Julmust Christmas Soda, Pickled Herring, Saffron Buns

It's our first Christmas living in Sweden, so as Americans of course we filmed ourselves trying all the Swedish holiday food, candy, and snacks we saw popping up in grocery stores and recommended to us by Swedish friends. Let's get festive and have some fun trying out the flavors of Christmas (Jul) in Sweden!

Very popular Swedish Christmas snacks include Julmust, a Christmas soda that is literally everywhere right now, Julost chips, Christmas cheese chips that (spoiler!) are incredibly good, the Aladdin chocolates box that seems to have a lot of tradition tied into it, saffron rolls and buns, pepparkakor which are like gingerbread cookies but different, and something called Juleskum. And we also tried three kinds of pickled herring (sill) because our Swedish friends said they commonly have it during holiday meals.
