Diversion! Full Journey on 74 - Temple Meads to UWE Frenchay via Gloucester Road

28th June 2025 Update: This route has since been rerouted from Hengrove Depot to Bradley Stoke, in favour of replacing the Hengrove Depot to The Centre part of the 70, and New Road and onwards towards Bristol Parkway and Bradley Stoke, replacing part of the 73.

I was thinking of ditching this plan, but decided to do it just in case it's cool. There are (or were) works at Bedminster Bridge, which barges through Queens Square, making buses over Bedminster Bridge or Queens Square tricky to come through. So instead, loads of routes along that way were diverted! And this is the way we went! Sadly though, since this wasn't the proper route, I'll have to do this again. Luckily when the diversion is finished though. The diversion was cool though! Once again, First Bus using false branding liveries. I've seen 70s and 73s too using citylines blue. Disturbingly I also saw a 75 and 76 using a citylines 24, and most weirdly, a 19 using the aqaue! What'll be next? X39 unibus? Y6 aqaue?! Who knows!?
