Two trees you should never have in your yard

Thinking of planting new trees in your backyard? Consider avoiding these two types!

1. **Green Ash Trees**: While they look great, they are under threat from the Emerald Ash Borer, a pest that has already devastated millions of trees across the U.S. Its spread to various states, including Colorado, means these trees may soon be at risk.

2. **Bradford Pears**: They may look beautiful, but their strong odor is not their only downside. They are prone to breakage and are sensitive to a fungus called fire blight, which can spread to other plants in your garden.

If you have these trees, be cautious when pruning and make sure to disinfect your tools after each cut to prevent the spread of diseases.
