With a little forethought during construction you can make it easy to get to all the details you'll be painting, and the frame of the Knight is itself fairly easy to paint. When it comes to the armour plating, a quick coloured spray with lay down most of the work for us and afterwards it's a simple matter to follow the same basic techniques of any other miniature: shade and highlight. There's just a lot more of it to do this time!

Tomorrow we'll tackle the actual detailing on the armour panels and a few extra little bits and pieces to really make the Knight shine. Something this size makes for an excellent centerpiece to an army, and can be mighty imposing on the battlefield!
