Exploring Disney’s Private Island Castaway Cay 🌴 | Disney Magic Vlog Day 2

Welcome back to Day 2 of our magical honeymoon adventure aboard the Disney Magic! 🛳✨

Today’s vlog is all about our stop at the one and only Castaway Cay — Disney’s original private island in the Bahamas, and honestly, it completely lived up to the hype! 🌴🏖️

This was our very first time visiting Castaway Cay, and we decided to spend the day just soaking in the vibes, relaxing, and getting to know the island at our own pace. We made our way straight to Serenity Bay, the adult-exclusive beach area tucked away on the far side of the island. It was truly paradise — peaceful, quiet, and absolutely stunning. From the soft white sand to the crystal-clear blue water, it felt like a dream come true. ☀️🌊

We laid out in the sun, floated in the ocean, and really just unplugged for a bit — it was the perfect way to spend the day. Right near the beach was Serenity Bay BBQ, where we grabbed a quick and easy lunch without having to leave the adult area. The food was solid, especially for a beach day, and you KNOW we had to grab some soft-serve ice cream to cool off. 🍔🍗🍦

There was also a beach bar steps away from the water, where we enjoyed a couple of tropical drinks that totally hit the spot. 🍹🍍

Although we didn’t book any excursions this time around — since we wanted to just relax and explore at our own pace — we definitely saw some amazing options that we’d love to try on a future cruise. Castaway Cay has so much to offer: shops, fun activities, food and drink stands, rentals, and even a post office where you can send real mail stamped from the island! 📬

Before heading back to the ship, we did a little shopping on the island and picked up a few fun souvenirs — including a super cool Castaway Cay spirit jersey and a cute pin to add to our collection! 🛍️

Back onboard, we got ready for our first dinner at Animator’s Palette, one of Disney Cruise Line’s most beloved restaurants. Between the immersive design, animation-themed decor, and tasty food, it was such a fun experience. (And we’ll be back there again soon for Pirate Night, where the whole vibe changes — so keep an eye out for that video coming up!) 🎨⚓️

To end the evening, we saw Tangled: The Musical, and it was so well done — the performers, costumes, and set design were incredible. It truly felt like a Broadway-quality show at sea. 🎭💜

After a full day of sunshine and pixie dust, we headed back to our stateroom for an early night so we could rest up for our excursion in Nassau the next morning — where Jamie had an unforgettable dolphin encounter coming up! 🐬
