Hi there railfans.
On request by many, another TriRail video.
You will see a good mix of the paint scheme being phased out, the palm trees, and the new paint scheme. It's a big discussion which one is better. For me the new scheme is refreshing but in the wrong colors and not exciting enough graphic wise. But we all have different tastes so I am sure we never come to the same conclusion which is perfectly fine. ;-)
The first train has Hyundai Rotem coach cars and cab car. You can easily recognize these by the straight roof line. This train is being pushed northbound by an EMD F40PHR-3C. The colors on this engine are close to the new colors but in a different scheme.
The second train is also being pushed northbound by an EMD F40PHR-3C but in this case the coach cars and cab car are built by UTDC and you can recognize these by the sloped roof line at either end of the car. The cab car has a straight nose and only 2 windows, or 1 and a half if you like. You can also see a good comparison between old and new paint schemes.
The third train is coming southbound and has a Brookville BL36PH in the lead. The coach cars are with slanted roof line so they are built by UTDC. The cab car is also with slanted roofline and straight nose but has three windows, full width cab, and is built by Bombardier. The width of the cab and the extra window are giveaways it is a Bombardier cab car.
To finish up the video you see the rock train on the way out to the quarries to pick up a new load of lime stone. The engine is an EMD SD70MAC.
That's all for today railfans.
Thanks for checking in and see you next time.
Have an awesome rest of your day.
