Let me show you how to properly remove the Ski Slope (Front Center Console a.k.a. Waterfall) from my 2005 Aston Martin DB9 Coupe with an Automatic Transmission. You may need to remove it to gain access to service the wood veneer, or to remove the Sat Nav screen, the Air Vents, or something with the gear selection or start button. It all comes apart in under 5 minutes once you know the tricks.
Also included in the video is a clip about how to tackle it on a later model with a piano black finish, Glass Key and Manual transmission (footage and knowledge courtesy of Aston Installations)
The process is [probably] the same on most of the Gaydon era cars that include the Aston Martin Vantage, DBS, Rapide, Virage and Vanquish. Please leave a comment below if you can confirm the process and/or mention the differences.
You can learn even more about this and other topics on my companion blog at http://www.Aston1936.com
