The High Sun Games take place in an arena in Neverwinter, where the main characters—Edgin (Chris Pine), Holga (Michelle Rodriguez), Simon (Justice Smith), and Doric (Sophia Lillis)—are forced to compete in a deadly maze filled with traps and magical beasts, including a terrifying displacer beast. Orchestrated by the villain Forge (Hugh Grant) and the Red Wizard Sofina (Daisy Head), the games are actually a trap designed to gather a large crowd for a dark ritual to turn the spectators into an undead army.
