Thruxton to Little Gransden Wing View - 360 video filmed from the wing

Lots of ground activity at Thruxton in this 360 film, the teams were setting up for the British Touring Car Championship. Slightly adventurous trip from Thruxton (EGHO) to Little Gransden (EGMJ). As Little Gransden prefer a glide approach, I thought I would do a couple of practice runs at Thruxton before heading out on the 35min flight. First circuit the wheels didn't go down as quickly as I expected (we've recently had some work done to the nose wheel so nerves were higher than usual) so did a low run, with the tower verifying that the wheels were down. second circuit I managed a touch and go and departed to the east, via RAF Benson.

Arriving at Little Gransden, the grass runway was being cut. The tractor didn't see me on the first approach (I'm not sure they had a radio), so I had to fly a second approach, low overhead so the mower could give way and wait at the end of the runway.

A lovely little farm strip though, second time I have been here. AvGas available, just £10 per landing and £10 overnight.
