Look Up: A Collection of Cloudscape Timelapses in 4K

I've spent the past few months watching the clouds. Every formation fascinates me; the way they move and transform is incredible, as is the way the light shines through, and the way they make airplanes look so small. I decided to capture the movement of clouds through time lapse to show what is difficult to see and hard to notice - how clouds move above our heads, whether we notice them or not.

These time lapses were shot over the course of a few months in Vancouver, British Columbia. We had a few high/low pressure weather events that led to incredible cloudscapes over the mountains, which inspired me to by an intervelometer to capture the movement of clouds over time. This turned into an obsession, and whenever I saw an incredible cloudscape without my camera I'd be overcome with this overwhelming feeling of missing out, that I wouldn't be able to capture what I'm seeing.

Shot on a Nikon D3100. Most clips were about 10-15 minutes of real time, usually shot with a 2-3 second interval depending on cloud speed.
