People matter. Full stop. They matter more than your reputation, your stuff, your 401K, or your leisure time. Everything in this world is perishable and fleeting. Only people, made in the image of God, are eternal.
In this week’s text the apostle Paul is going to take the time to recognize 29 individuals by name or association along with 4 other groups of unnamed congregations or house churches. Some of them were male and some were female. Some were Jewish converts, and some were Gentile converts and yet they were one in the Body of Christ.
There is much we can learn, as a local church, from their example of love, partnership, honor and unity.
