The Procession is part of the Greenhill Bower Festival - Lichfield's oldest tradition, held on the May Bank Holiday. http://lichfieldbower.co.uk/
Lichfield & Hatherton Canals Restoration Trust were honoured to transport the Bower Queen, Ellie Wheeler, and her deputy, Tegan Grist, on our float - the "Bower Belle". This was history in the making as we took the first narrowboat through Lichfield since the canal was abandoned in the 1950s. www.LHCRT.org.uk
