The USAID-funded Lebanon Industry Value Chain Development- LIVCD project works with Lebanese food Industrialists to improve the pickle production chain by reducing cost, improving quality, and increasing capacity. LIVCD Pickles Expert John Demo has carried out a study and has began implementing its findings with a few Lebanese pickle processors.
By improving the whole sector, this project will impact directly the rural farmers from which the cucumbers are procured from.
