you already know. it's the Safdies and they blessed us with two bangers. That's right. DOUBLE. 2 sports dramas, both led by leading star power in Timmy Tim and Rock dude. A24 produced both movies but we ALLLLLLL know who's the favorite. It's a shame. Benny deserves much love as his brother. I hope he gets recognized for best directing in the award ceremonies coming up. I can't be too mad tho, because it is 99.9% certain the Academy WILL recognize a Safdie brother next year. Been waiting since 2019 and by golly the wait was worth it. 2 for the price for 1. (still holding out hope for that Adam Sandler baseball movie)
