In this video, Dirt Locker® teams up with Mira Catalina Elementary School in Southern California to help revive their hillside school mascot. Watch as Mark, volunteers, and students install the MINI sized Dirt Lockers to contour to the shape of a whale on a steep slope. Before, the plants within the whale were struggling as they were constantly fighting the effects of soil erosion and water loss. Now, with the nurturing aid of individual raised planters connected together to make a terrace hillside garden, the plants will be able to establish deep roots on the hill, which will stabilize the slope. The plants in the whale shaped design also make for an eye catching unique landscaping idea for visitors to admire.
