The route that crosses Allegheny Avenue 3 times in 1 direction, SEPTA's route 89 is a community route that serves the neighborhoods of Kensington, Port Richmond, Harrogate, Juniata Park, and Frankford.
Contrary to popular belief, route 89 is not the least used route in the system, however, smaller buses wouldn't necessarily kill the line, especially with some of the turns it has to make. Anyway, enjoy the ride. Our chariot today is NovaBus LFS #8623.
