Is cologne or perfume part of nonverbal communication? When people react to what other people are wearing in terms on scent there are some elements to nonverbal communication.

Some people go too far and wear far too much scent. This can be overpowering and cause people to not listen or want to be around the person who has too much smell to them. This problem of too much scent can repel people away and cause a loss of control for a message.
