Ricoh GR Cities Event in Madrid -

As the #shootGR_Madrid hashtag reached over 1000 uses on Instagram, we could see that there was a big enough GR community there to organise an event.

It was an absolute scorcher on the day, so after an introduction from the GR Ambassadors, we headed to Las Ventas. This is a particularly busy area of the city, with a lot of tourists and with a metro station nearby making it a hive of activity.

The bright sun made it perfect for getting those high-contrast images with the GR III and if you wanted to get some street portraits, it was busy enough to go completely unnoticed with the stealthiness of the GR IIIx.

After that we headed back to get a bite to eat to finish the event that was kindly organised by Reflecta - our distributor in Spain - @ricohpentaxspain

Overall it was a really enjoyable day, not only catching up with other photographers but we were also able to get some great shots on the day! This only leaves us with the question, which cities should we visit next?
