A 13-month programme for women social entrepreneurs in EA to address the deep-rooted gender biased entrepreneurial ecosystem implemented by Capital Solutions Ltd (CSL) in partnership with Mkaziprenuer and support from Aspen Network of Development Entrepreneurs (ANDE) and USAID.
This programme reached 80 women entrepreneurs with an opportunity to innovate, network and build capacity to enlarge their business for sustainability. We used the accelerator and mentorship programme to support the entrepreneurs build strong business systems, access markets and finance.
This is a success story that can replicated in other parts of the world to contribute to SDG 5 and 8.
