An Inspector Calls - analysis of Act 1 opening stage directions to pass your English Literature GCSE

If this is your set text you need to understand the opening of Priestley's play to be successful in your English Literature exam. Exploring these stage directions is useful for responding to thematic questions relating to class and the generations, as well as on the characters. This annotation exercise is great for both English Literature and English Language students as the skills you are demonstrating are key to both subjects. This should also be of interest to drama students too.
