Established in the year 2000, Nele Foundation has been dedicated to the care and rehabilitation of vulnerable children—ragpickers, street children, and orphans—providing them with shelter, education, and a nurturing environment. Over the years, our mission has evolved in response to changing societal needs. While the number of orphaned children has thankfully reduced due to improved healthcare and awareness, the need for structured care and educational support for underprivileged children remains critical.
Today, Nele Foundation runs 12 residential centers across Karnataka (7 for boys and 5 for girls), currently housing over 400 children. In the past 25 years, we have positively impacted the lives of more than 2000 children, guiding them toward a life of dignity, purpose, and self-reliance.
