The Vale of Atholl Pipe Band playing Green Hills of Tyrol and When the Battle's o'er as they entertained crowds on Atholl Road in Pitlochry. This was during their first display at the Pitlochry New Year Street Party on Thursday 1st January 2026. Look close and you can see it was just starting to snow.

This was part of this annual event in Pitlochry, Perthshire, Scotland, on New Year’s Day. The event, held on Atholl Road by Fishers Hotel in Pitlochry, is led by compere Alan Brown and includes displays by The Vale of Atholl Pipe Band and a street Ceilidh to music from the West Telferton Caledonian Dance Band, led by Andrew Knight and Lindsey Weir.
