In today’s video, Maria and I take on TWO exciting enclosure builds, one tiny and one seriously next level! 🕷️🦂

We kick things off by starting a tiny little home for an incredibly small but stunning rainbow tarantula, also known as the Brazilian Jewel Tarantula. This species may be tiny, but its colors are absolutely unreal, But before we start that build though, we dive into a much bigger project: building a brand-new octagon enclosure from Tarantula Cribs for an Asian Forest Scorpion. To do it right, we need supplies… so off to The Reptile Room STL we go!

While at the reptile room, we talk with Mo, the owner of ‪@TheReptileRoomSTL‬ and ‪@tarantulacribs‬ who gives us valuable insight on:
• Proper care for the Brazilian Jewel Tarantula
• What makes a great enclosure

After grabbing everything we need, it’s back home to start building. Both enclosures come out absolutely amazing, the forest scorpion setup looks incredible, and the Brazilian jewel tarantula’s tiny home is small, but mighty!

Once both builds are finished, we move the animals into their new homes and share tips and tricks for creating beautiful, functional enclosures at home, just like Maria does, and why these new setups are such a big upgrade for their wellbeing.
