More estates fall into Inheritance Tax bracket

HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) have just released data showing that Inheritance Tax receipts between April and October 2021 were £3.6 billion, that’s £720 million higher than the same period a year earlier – an increase of 20%.

These figures should be a ‘wake-up call’ for families to think carefully about their tax planning.
