Flydigi Apex 5 controller - overview

Things I didn't mention in the video:

-The official software is called Flydigi Space station 4.0.
-You can set any kind of image or gif to the screen through the software.
-The screen can be used to navigate settings like changing profiles, language, vibration strength and connecting to Bluetooth devices.
-The home button or Flydigi button above the screen can be pressed to open Xbox game bar or Steam.
-The trigger adaptive functionality can be set to one mode as shown in the video or can be set game basis that supports Dualsense in the software to exactly mimic Dualsense feedback.
-The body rumble is same as Xbox by default, but you can set it to be more intense in the software.
-The vibration feels very much same as Xbox's, which is pretty good already, feels weighty but in some scenario when Xbox doesn't vibrate, Apex 5 does, and it felt good and accurate too.
-The trigger doesn't have rumble motor except it got Dualsense's adaptive trigger.
-You can turn off all the LEDs in the software by selecting "Close" under the Light Mode, but you can't turn off the screen or at least as of now. I hope Flydigi release a firmware to give the option to turn off the screen.
-I don’t like the position of the 2 menu buttons, specially the left side one is very hard to reach over the stick. Gladly it’s not a button we frequently use while gaming but when there is quick necessity of using them, those two buttons placement is not optimal.

overall if I rate Xbox controller a 7.5/10, I give Apex 5 an 8.7/10. It could be 9.5/10 if the trigger was more like Xbox's style with rumble and all than Dualsense, I don't necessarily find adaptive trigger to be that enjoyable in Dualsene, it feels good for sometimes but then gets pretty old quickly, whereas Xbox's trigger rumble always adds some sort of depth to sensation.

If you are looking for a solid upgrade from Xbox core controller, or even from elite, you can consider Apex 5, it feels as great as Xbox Elite in hand, much faster and snappier actuation, and it doesn't take any time to connect to the PC, you flick the switch and it's connected; Xbox controller takes some second to be connected even with 2.4g dongle, and sometimes it doesn't connect at all until re-plugging the dongle, never had this issue with Apex 5, the performance all around is excellent; except the trigger is bit better on Xbox in my opinion.
