Guernsey Adventures: Heifers and our new cow! Join us as we bring our Guernsey heifers down the road to our neighbor's big green pasture and check out the barn we'll be allowed to use! The barn will be used as the nursery barn for our young calves. Then the next day we head to Giddings, Texas to pick up our new cow we purchased through the Wisconsin Guernsey Breeders Association. We drove her home and quickly got her milked out and settled so she could rest after such a long trip.

Come see our YouTube channel where we prepare our homestead for self-sufficiency, gardening, rotational grazing, permaculture, raising purebred Guernsey milk cows for our micro raw milk dairy, raising, slaughtering and storing our own homegrown meat like heritage Red Wattle hogs and our very own meat birds we breed and hatch ourselves.
