Two of the best small diaphragm condenser microphones for acoustic guitar that money can buy. The Neumann KM84, and the Schoeps MK4 with the CMC6 body.
We listen to them in a treated room with a vintage Gibson B-25, vintage Epiphone Texan, and a vintage Martin D35.
Recorded through BAE 1073 preamps. Mogami Gold cabling. And run through MOTU converters (soon to be swapped out).
Presented dry, and then with EQ and Reverb. No compression on any of the tracks.
