1A SCBDA Preliminaries
Here we go, the preliminaries at the end of the season for 1A and what a nice day it was. The sun came up across the field and that means that we faced east, and everything was back-lit in the morning. That's ok, the videos still turned out really nice. I was really impressed with the performances, made for a great day of music.
I'm happy that you stopped by, and I hope that this is the recording that got you to stay for a bit. Like, share and subscribe to keep advised of the newest content.
The audio is mixed for the best possible sound for each stadium, i take a sound print at the beginning and try to balance all performances that way. I still think that its worth listening to at least one run through on a nice set of headphones or nice speaker system, but I'm biased and love this music.
The video is capture in 4k, and the details are as sharp as possible to see all of the band members and their locations and positions, the props, and try to capture some of the beginning and ending activities in case that helps the PIT crews with logistics.
*To the band directors: You’ve led these students to this amazing point, I hope I can capture (in image and videos) how awesome they sound and how vibrant they are and please feel free to use this as a study aid if needed. I look forward to working with you next year again. I do this for you 😎
*To all the band members past, present and future: You are amazing! I didn’t have band growing up, and I saw how awesome my kids turned out by going through band, I am so excited to image the discipline and work that you all put into the sport, and I can’t wait to see what’s happening next year. I do this for you as well. 📸
*To all the parents: I hope that my pics and vids can help capture a moment of your kids as mine were captured, it helped my wife when she needed it, and friends and family members don’t get to see these sights normally. I do this for you. 😊
*I re-use a lot of wording in my videos because usually its just 1 video that most viewers are here for, and there's usually a lot that I'd love to share; I love to talk about band stuff and tech stuff. I apologize to those awesome folks that have read this before, I hope that you understand why.
