Free Online Puppet Summer Camp | Activities for Kids | Session 1 - How to Make Sock Puppet Dog

Hello Puppet Summer Campers!
Welcome to Session 1 of The Puppetarians' Free Online #Puppet Summer Camp. Today we'll make a #Dog #SockPuppet!! A super fun activity for kids, parents, teachers and everyone! We are so happy you all are here. If you have the materials ready with you, make the puppet as you watch. But some parts may be a bit fast in which case, observe the steps shown and make your puppet after the video ends. You can watch this video again and again after the premier as you complete your Dog Puppet! Yay!

Here's the material list to make Dog Sock Puppet: 
1. 2 colorful socks (they can be a pair or two different socks, clean and dry)
2. Googly eyes OR eyes drawn on hard paper with markers OR 2 white TT balls OR 2 white Cotton Balls OR 2 white paper balls
3. 2 Big black Bindis
4. A bottle cap or big pom pom ball for nose
5. A piece of fur OR bunch of wool OR strips of brown paper for hair
6. A small red piece of Cloth OR Paper for tongue
7. Scissors (child safe for kids)
8. Black marker OR Sketch Pen
9. Glue (we use a contact adhesive called 'Multi Fix' it is super strong. But you can use any glue you have at home. Even double sided tape for temporary making)
10. If you are good at stitching and would like to stitch certain parts rather than gluing then you can keep a needle and thread too (totally optional) Have fun making your Dog Sock Puppet!
