My name is Ian and this is part of a series documenting my helicopter training in the Robinson R-22. Follow along as I go from zero experience to becoming a flight instructor. On this multi-part series, we're taking N142VA up to Sevier County Choppers for its 2,200 hour overhaul inspection. This is the second video in this trip where we fly over an inactive nuclear power plant, through the Tennessee mountains, and land at Asheville airport. Make sure to tune in next week where we take a closer look at the two Ospreys on the ramp at Asheville, then fly over the mountains again on our final leg to Sevier County, TN.
Video Highlights:
0:30 - Nuclear power plant
5:18 - Funny radio conversation with airplane
6:50 - Army helicopter
10:00 - Approach into Asheville
This video is not intended to be a substitute for in-person instruction with a Certified Flight Instructor.
Outro Music: "Invisible" - Vibe Tracks
