My latest painting of a Native American Indian. Sad back story to the 1927 photo reference, the Blackfoot Confederation had been assimilated into white culture by that time. According to Edward S. Curtis, a far cry from the traditional people he photographed in 1900. Fat Horse probably dressed up for the photo.
