Chris Whitley left us twenty years ago today - hard to believe. One of my favorite songs from him, “Accordingly” fingerpicked on my beautiful all mahogany Collings 000 12-fret in D#-G#-D#-G#-A#-D# tuning.
I first saw Chris in Detroit opening for Tom Petty and then again in 2005 in a small club in Phoenix.
