Messenger Elijah Muhammad was born October, 1897 in Sandersville, Georgia. He met his teacher, Master Fard Muhammad, Allah (God) in Person, to Whom all praise is due forever, in Detroit, Michigan, after migrating there in the early 1930's. Upon the departure of his teacher, the Honorable Elijah Muhammad was missioned by Allah to lead, teach and guide the "Lost-Found Nation of Islam in North America".
