Back when I left game dev to jump into web development, I felt totally overwhelmed.

As a game developer, I focused on the awesome flow of the game itself.

But web development?

That's a whole different beast!

You've got messy user inputs, complex client stuff...

it felt like a minefield compared to the games I was used to building.

Was I crazy for fearing I'd never be a good front-end developer?

I mean, there's just SO much to learn in the world of UI and UX.

That's what pushed me toward a back-end role.

I figured it was a better fit!
