Tension escalated after a group clash broke out between two groups at Regent Market under Town Police Station limits in Sundargarh. Both groups allegedly pelted stones at each other, leading to a chaotic situation at the spot. As the situation worsened, police force was deployed to control the violence. The Superintendent of Police and the Sub-Collector reached the scene to assess the situation and restore order.
