The University of the Free State honours the legacy of King Moshoeshoe I, a visionary leader, diplomat, strategist and peacemaker who is credited as the founder of the Basotho nation and for the leadership he displayed under difficult circumstances.
This year, the lecture will be presented jointly by Dr Edith Phaswa, the acting Head of the Thabo Mbeki African Leadership Institute, and Prof Itumeleng Mekoa, a Research Professor and author.
The topic of the lecture is: “ON MOSHOESHOE, LEADERSHIP AND AFRICA’S FUTURES”.
