I stumbled on this great combo in Engage that has Jean and Ike going crazy with Great Aether, Wrath and Vantage to be almost unkillable and having a LOT of crit. This build is VERY viable all the way through the end game and while it does take a bit of initial investment and babying of Jean, it will pay off in dividends once it really gets going. He is literally a one man army.
