Second trial painting of swooshing the paint right across the canvas to balloon smash, rather than laying it down individually per flower. Absolutely loved the colours in this and how some of the petals looked variegated.
Apologies for the black paint on my nose…totally didn’t realize haha!
Some cracking occurred when dry, most likely because the base paint was a bit too thin (too much water)🌺😊Hope this experiment is of use to you too!🤩🎶

*Notes:
~ I usually wipe the paint off the ballon for the first smash, then leave it on for additional smashes to the same spot.
~ If you are new to this technique, I recommend using a thicker pouring medium (try experimenting with different products that are available in your region)
~ If too much paint is being pulled up by the balloon, go make a cup of tea and try again a bit later…the paint should be tackier by then and stay on the base☕️
~ Please wear gloves or wash your hands immediately if your skin is reactive to your paints!
~ As these paintings take 1-2hrs to complete, videos have been edited down as best possible to under 15mins😊
Hope you enjoyed the video and thank you so much for watching. Truly grateful for all your kind comments, likes and subscriptions!😊
