After decades of dreaming, Russ finally gets to surprise his wife with the perfect gift. This '60 F100 came to us with a story. Russ had promised his wife he'd buy her another truck after making her sell hers when they got married—and this black and red beauty was going to be that promise fulfilled. What started as a nostalgic restoration quickly became something much more special.

Russ had a crystal clear vision from day one: keep it period correct and traditional on the outside, but give it the power and reliability to cruise their 3,000-acre ranch with confidence. No over-the-top modifications, just authentic 1960 style with modern muscle underneath.

Every detail was about maintaining that 1960 authenticity while making it actually drivable. We put over 1,000 test miles on this truck, chasing down every little issue to make sure Russ and his wife could trust it anywhere from ranch roads to highway cruising.

The moment Russ heard that Coyote fire up for the first time says it all.
