Visiting the Tuscany Coast and and en-suite pitch at Camping Il Veliero | Best Campsite

We travelled down the Tuscany Coast in the Laika Kosmo to Follonica, Italy.
This coastal town has an upmarket feel and a great history, based on its metal production.
There are miles of sandy beaches and blue sea and a promenade perfect for walking and cycling.

We stayed on pitch 206 at Camping Il Veliero, a welcoming and friendly campsite with en-suite facilities on the pitches. We could not believe what an amazing campsite we found here. For €130 we had a serviced pitch with our own toilet and shower and a fully equipped kitchen. For three nights this was great value…
The site had a lovely bar and restaurant, swimming pools, a supermarket and a few other basic facilities. The food was good, we tried it two nights, and the third night we walked down to a hotel and ate in their restaurant.
We took the bus from outside the site in to Follonica, about a 5 minute ride, and then had a slow walk back on the promenade to the campsite. It is about a three mile walk each way.
The campsite also has its own section of beach which we show where to find this in the vlog.

We would definitely recommend Follonica and this site, we had a great time in the Kosmo here.
