In Barkarbystaden, north of Stockholm, a smart, attractive and sustainable city with 40 000 inhabitants, is being built. Here, SL, Järfälla municipality and the public transport operator Nobina, are creating the world's most modern public transport.
The Barkarby model is a new type of collabaration where urban development, infra structure, public transport and new technology are united into one integrated solution.
All parts contribute with different competences and solutions, and Nobina has been able to connect the municipality and the region with our unique knowledge of technology and public transport.
