Gidropress produces hydraulic column press machines of the Gefest-K series with a force from 250 to 10,000 tons.

Column presses can have very different purposes. This is stamping. Both drawing and deep drawing. Composite and non-metallic materials testing. And testing materials for strength. Hot stamping and reduction.

We calculate all column presses in SOLID WORKS software using the finite element method. We take into account the thermal reactions of the equipment and possible intensive operating conditions.

To organize loading and unloading of workpieces, as well as changing molds and stamping equipment, presses can be equipped with an automatic roll-out table.

The upper, central and lower traverses of the press are welded and stress-relieved. They have high rigidity. Assembled from sheet blanks cut on a CNC thermal cutting machine. Upon request, these elements can be made as solid castings from cast steel.

The slider movement along the guides ensures high parallelism of the plates.
The press slide moves along the columns. Guide bushings with bronze liners have an original design that allows you to replace the liners and adjust the gap in the guides without disassembling the columns. This maintainability is especially appreciated by mechanics in factories.

Since column presses have a large height, the hydraulic unit is in most cases located on the service platform at the top of the press.

When designing hydraulics, we strive to use the most simple and reliable design possible. Analogues often have an overly difficult design with complex hydraulic units. Service employees then struggle with servicing such equipment.
The best part in the equipment is the one that is not in it! We follow this principle without complicating the design.
In hydraulic cylinders we use Japanese and Italian seals of a standardized series. Cuffs made of wear-resistant polyacetal material retain their shape for a long time and ensure tightness. Unlike older generation seals, they do not require replacement over a long service life.

As a standard, we make tool plates removable. On presses that provide heating of workpieces, we additionally install heating plates. For 40 and 240 Volts. We isolate the heating plates from the press parts with protective covers. We protect the front side of the press with photobarriers.

Another important advantage is the ability to adjust the parallelism of the slabs and the perpendicularity of the stroke by adjusting the thrust force nuts of the columns. In frame structures, if deviations in accuracy occur over time, it is much more difficult to restore factory parameters.

We equip all column presses with modern controllers of the Japanese company OMRON. Export versions of the press are equipped with hydraulic and electrical components from the world's leading manufacturers. These are Siemens, Bosch-Rexroth, ABB, Schneider, Baluff.
In presses with a column design, we usually separate the power cabinet and the control cabinet.
The press is controlled from a touch panel and a push-button remote control.

The main version is in English. But we are translating the management system into other languages.

In heating presses, uniform heating of workpieces is carried out using PID temperature control.

Setting the required pressure, pressing speeds, indicating the current force and slider movement on a ten-inch touch screen and a convenient system of tabs with settings and service functions allow you to use column presses for single and repeatable tasks.

Each press undergoes preliminary tests at the factory. We check all parameters for speed, force, accuracy and other important values.

The documentation for the presses is very detailed. The operational manuals contain all the information for carrying out repair work even after a long time.
