The 1990s have come to a close for the Fun Corporation with many exciting additions throughout the decade. Through their original parks, Funland and Joyland, the company would see 16 new rides added, including 6 coasters with 3 being constructed at each park. In 1995, Fun Corporation announced their intention to build Houston Pleasant in Cypress, Texas just outside of Houston. Though there were many addition, fans did have to say goodbye to a few beloved rides in the 90s, including Joyland's original thrill machine, White Cyclone.
In this edition of the Fun Corporation series, we'll go over the 90s financials, followed by each addition year by year, and conclude with the coasters.
