the "right" way to start learning how to draw?

i heard it's good to practice lines and basic shapes when starting out, so i did... for 30 days straight. it's chapter 2 of DIY art school, folks!

(and in case the title isn't sarcastic enough, im only on a self-taught artistic journey far from knowing what the "right" way to do things is, if there even is any. this is just a documentation of my creative experiment 😬)
