Here's something I caught in the latter half of a tape I recently found at a thrift store: a partial newscast from WRC-TV 4, the NBC affiliate in Washington, D.C.
Jim Vance, Dave Marash, and George Michael are reporting from the studio, and Arch Campbell is a correspondent covering the 1988 Helen Hayes Awards. This newscast originally aired on the evening of May 9, 1988, and based on the notice appearing midway through, it was later broadcast early in the following morning.
Commercials are included in this recording. Really neat stuff.
